The clients approached us to help them consent and build a new Loft Garage on their rural property.
The property was in a flood-prone area and needed Resource Consent. They were looking for a turnkey solution and no hassles.
The clients love their new Loft and it has provided that extra accommodation and storage they often require. The quality of the build has added real value to the property.

Process
- Our Town Planner and Hydrology engineer worked together to prepare the Resource Consent submission and we successfully gained Resource Consent
- We then custom designed a bespoke solution to the client's specific requirements and built one of our most Classic Lofts, that not only complements the existing dwelling but also the beautiful rural landscape.
Result
- The Makarau Loft Garage has a great sized double garage with an open loft above.
- The garage downstairs can be used as a workshop, garaging or hobby room. While upstairs could be used as a sleepout, office or for any number of purposes.
- A blank canvas to customize as you see fit.
