WARNER RD - LAINGHOLME - APPROX 96 m2
LOFT SLEEPOUT
The Brief
The clients approached us to consent and build a small 2 storey studio they hoped to set up as an Airbnb. Their property was a challenging site in Laingholm, down a long winding road and covered in trees. It required Resource Consent for building coverage, impermeable surface infringements and slope instability.

Process
Our Town Planner, Arbourist and Geotechnician prepared and submitted the application which was successfully granted.
We then took the clients brief and designed a studio apartment that fitted the site and the clients specific requirements.
The build, although tricky because of the difficult site conditions, went smoothly.
Result
The clients have been delighted with the result. They have achieved their goal of setting up a Bed and Breakfast and have had great feedback from all their guests.

What the Client Thought about the Project
“We would like to thank you and your team for being absolutely amazing in getting our new Studio Loft completed. The procedure from Council approval through to final completion had its hiccups but it was superb the way we were led through the building process and the finished result is beyond our expectations. We are more than happy to recommend Loft Homes to any potential customers looking for a quality building addition to their property.”
